The Chaos That Is Me

My name is Alley, and the following is about my life and a little bit about those in it.

Kids? NO! Well, I guess you can call them that. They walk on 4 legs. Annie, the oldest (5ish Yr.) is the princess of the family, and is the prissiest, "big" dog you'll ever meet. She is a black lab/coon hound mix, and she likes to have her nails painted. It's true. Then there is our newest member, Colt (1 Yr.), full blood yellow lab. He is daddy's "duck dog". He is trained to hunt birds, and is full of energy, and tends to wake me up at 7am on my day off, poking me in the face with his wet nose. He weighs around 100 lbs. and is all muscle, which has made it quite easy to knock my feet out from under me several times already in his short little life. (Which, might I add, is not as fun as it sounds). He is quite entertaining and you will probably see posts about him in the future.

I'm married to my best friend (we'll call him Jay). He works in the oilfield and I am very proud of the man he has become. He likes fishing, hunting, and pretty much anything regarding mud. We have a boat that has a motor that runs in shallow to (almost) no water called a mudbuddy. And yes, we have been stuck several times in the boat... on land. We like to be on the water as often as possible.

Me-As much as it makes me sound like an old woman, I like gardening. My brother (who we'll call Chuck) tells me I will be that old woman one day, "who goes out to her garden in her sun hat and pick at her rose bushes for hours." I do hope to be that woman one day. :) I like to fish, and lounge around in the sun as much as possible. Although, I'm afraid those days will be coming to a halt here shortly as we will be changing climates within the next few months. From bikini's to parkas.... [maybe that should have been my blog name]. I've lived in the south all my life so I'm use to hot/warm/humid weather... with little to no snow whatsoever. I'm very easy going, and it takes a lot to make me mad. I think that says a lot about a person. Patience is a virtue, I think everyone should have. I have a lot of patience, except when it comes to computers... :/ Oh well. No one's perfect.
