So, it is the week of Christmas...the Tuesday before to be exact. Christmas is Sunday. Which kinda sucks for the working world, since they will have to go back to work the day after Christmas celebration extravaganza! and that sucks... I said that already though.
Holy Schimolies Ironman! (only about 2 of you will get that..) Have you seen the show The New Girl on FOX? It's seriously my new favorite show... Jess is as rediculously awkward as me!
I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by!
Our Christmas tree looks like crap. ... I know that's random, but...Just sayin. I am sitting here in plain view of it. It's leaning terribly, and I never found our solid colored ball ornaments so only our ... what do you call those exactly... "other ornaments" (including the two pairs of feather birds we have) are on the tree. I managed to find some poinsettas to cut and put in the tree from last year, so that helped fill in the holes. It's pretty sad.
This will be our (Jay and I's) first Chistmas, just us... me and him... and the two four legged children. Here are the kids in their Christmas attire. :) Love it... They on the other hand, were obviously miserable. :)
TEEHEE!!! Penguin man cracks me up... he was pissed. Sister is pretty use to it :)... she's a girl. :)
Anywho... I'm going back to my episodes of shows I've missed :).
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YA'LL!

Christmas Trees... the kind that smell like outside...not plastic :)
So this year is the first year that I've had a real Christmas tree in... well, a long long time. As a matter of fact, I bearly remember any of our trees being real... but I know we had them, because my mom always had to vacuum around the bottom part of the tree due to the massive amounts of needles that fell.
Well, when me and Jay got married, we (meaning me) got a prelit artificial tree on sale at Garden Ridge. Well, that tree is still in storage, and rather than me driving four hours then have to put the thing up (also being nervous that the lights may give me hell) I decided to go get one of the real ones. And Jay agreed. **Suprisingly**
So I got to go pick out a tree, by myself (which I wasn't seriously thrilled about) and managed to haul it in the house by myself too! Pretty proud of myself. :) Let me just say, I've had the tree in the house less than 24 hours, and I think I have swept under and around the tree like ... oh, 10 times already... This thing better survive when we go out of town for a week. :/
So, new REAL tree, means I needed to get lights for it! :) If you haven't learned by now... it's the little things in life that excite me... like silly shaped pencil topper "erasers" that don't even erase quat, they more like smear around the lead on your paper, making it look dreadful. That's the time you just scratch out the word and the smears and write the new word next to it. ...[just realized how completely off topic I am]...anyway... that's how I feel about Chistmas lights.
So, before Jay had to go to work, he helped me get the tree straight so that I could decorate it tonight and have something beautiful to look at while I'm sitting next to the fire :) It's suppose to start snowing late tonight and tomorrow, so I'm definately going to be doing everything indoors. :)
A predicament that I have run into though, is that our roof is very tall and in fact taller than our ladder that we have... so I am afraid I will be limited to our outside house decorations this year. :( Oh well, more to look forward to next year, I suppose.

Ho Ho Ho...oh, excuse me... I had to clear my throat
It's officially Christmas Time! The Christmas lights are getting strung up on houses and mantels are getting decorated in red and green. I love this time of year! The snow just kind of solidifies the fact that it is the time of year! :)
I hope all yall had an awesome Thanksgiving with family and friends. I know I did! We got to head south and spend it with both sides of our family. It was great! My cuz, Cricut took our holiday pictures for our Christmas cards. It was 78 degrees. It was kind of miserable, but I can't tell you the last time I've laughed so hard. Here are some of the pics she took.

(notice the wardrobe change, due to excessive sweating)
She's pretty talented. But we had to have a little fun of our own... :) Here's some of that!
One thing I learned that day... EVERYTHING is more fun with a mustache. :)
I've got just about all of my Christmas shopping done! I only have one other person to buy for! Oh, and here's a little artwork by request... :)Meet Paul and Pauline turkey!
Ok yall! Have a good week. I'll try to post again before Christmas! :)
